Using Forms on our System

The following information is provided by our system vendor and should help you troubleshoot any issues you might have.

For file uploads, please note:

The maximum size for a file upload is 25 MB.
The name of the file you upload can not be longer than 255 characters and should contain only letters and words, no special characters or leading or trailing spaces.

For troubleshooting any problems you encounter when completing a form:

Try clearing your browser's cache. If this does not resolve your issue, please proceed to the next step.
If you are using the Upload Button feature, you must have Java installed on your computer, except for Chrome and Firefox which use HTML5 instead of Java to upload folders.
Please ensure your web browser is the latest version of Safari, Firefox or Chrome, Edge, etc.
(Note: Our system’s preferred browsers are Chrome or Firefox.)
Verify that the file's name is valid. File names must be 255 characters or less. Use only letters and numbers in your file name -- those containing non-printable ascii, "/" or "\", names with leading or trailing spaces, and the special names “.” and “..” are NOT supported.

Check to see if you are running the latest versions of Java and Flash.
Clear your Java Cache. Follow steps here: http://www.java.com/en/download/help/plugin_cache.xml
Disable any browser plug-ins or add-ons that could be interfering with JavaScript or Java (i.e. NoScript, AdBlock).
Proxy servers may sometimes cause failed uploads. If you see the error message: An error occurred with the upload.

... Please refresh the page and try again.
Restart your computer. Occasionally, one-time issues may prevent Java from functioning correctly, and a restart may solve these problems.

Clearing Your Browser Cache

Many issues using forms on our system can be solved by clearing your browser cache. Read below for some instructions on how to do this.

What is it?

Every web browser stores web pages, images, cookies, and other downloaded content on the computer. This is called the browser's cache. Clearing your browser's cache regularly can protect your privacy, free up some space on your computer, and will often resolve issues you experience within MemberClicks and other hosted solutions.

Every browser is different, but the following sections will outline the steps involved in clearing the cache for several popular web browsers including Firefox, Chrome, etc..

Clearing Your Cache

Firefox

On a PC, click the "Firefox" menu in the top left corner. Next, select the right arrow next to "History >", and click "Clear Recent History."
On a Mac, hover over History and select "Clear Recent History…"
Select Cache and Cookies, then click Clear Now

Shortcut (PC): press Ctrl + Shift + Delete to open the recent history window.

Shortcut (Mac): press Command + Shift + Delete to open the recent history window.

Chrome

Click on the settings icon that appears to the right of the address bar. In the newest versions of Chrome, this appears as three horizontal lines and in older versions will be a wrench icon.
From the menu, hover over History and select Show Full History.
Check cookies and other site and plugin data and cached images and files.
Select the beginning of time in the drop down box and click on the Clear browsing data button.

Shortcut (PC): press Ctrl + Shift + Delete to open the recent history window.

Shortcut (Mac): press Command + Shift + Delete to open the recent history window.

Internet Explorer 9, 10, and 11

Select Tools (via the Gear Icon) > Safety > Delete browsing history....
Make sure to uncheck Preserve Favorites website data and check both Temporary Internet Files and Cookies then click Delete.
You will get a confirmation at the bottom of the window once it has successfully cleared your cache and cookies.

Safari

Hover over ‘Safari’ in the top menu bar and click "Clear History..."
Click Clear History once more.
