2020 Midyear Workshops Scheduled for Chicago in April

Registration Now Open for SCEH's Third Annual Midyear Workshops in Clinical Hypnosis

SCEH continues our expanded educational offerings with our third annual Midyear Workshops in Clinical Hypnosis, to take place in April in Chicago.  The event will be held as follows:

 
April 24-25, 2020 (Friday and Saturday)

Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Chicago, Illinois

 

The program is co-sponsored by the Society for Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis and the Institute for Continuing Education.  This training is supported by Division 30 of the APA. SCEH is working with APA Division 30 to promote this event and to grant their members a discounted registration price.

Workshops

SCEH workshops are led by experienced presenters who are leaders in the field.  See website for faculty details.

The April event will feature three levels of training, serving novice to experienced practioners alike. These include:

  • Introductory Workshop - Foundations of Clinical and Applied Hypnosis
  • Intermediate Workshop - Intermediate Training in Clinical and Applied Hypnosis
  • Advanced Workshop - Chronic Pain and the Opioid Crisis: Mind-Body Innovations in Clinical Hypnosis

Who Should Attend

Psychologists; Psychiatrists and other Physicians; Social Workers; Counselors; Chiropractors; Master’s level Nurses, Clinical Nurse Practitioners and Health Care Coaches; other Master’s level licensed mental health and healthcare professionals, and clinical and experimental researchers in hypnosis.  Any health care professional eligible for SCEH membership may register. Special student rates apply.

Continuing Education

Continuing Education (CE) credits are provided by the Institute for Continuing Education. Each workshop offers a total of 12.5 contact  hours, with full attendance required.  See website for complete CE details.

Workshops meet accepted Standards of Training-in Clinical Hypnosis and count toward SCEH Hypnosis Certification Programs.

Again this year, these workshops are supported by APA Division 30.  SCEH is working with APA Div 30 to jointly promote these workshops and to grant their members a discounted registration price.
